Rules for sharing in Drift.

Drift's community library is for living wallpapers. These rules keep it a place worth sharing in.

Who can take part

• Browsing, saving and reporting never need an account.
• You need to be 13 or older to have an account, upload, like, block or appeal.

What you can share

• Share what you made, or what you have the right to share.
• Fan edits of anime, shows, films and games are welcome. Say where the footage is from in the source note.
• Every upload is checked before it goes live, and can be taken down later.

Not allowed

• Nudity or sexual content.
• Gore, or violence meant to shock.
• Hate, harassment or threats against anyone.
• Anyone's personal information.
• Anything that sexualises or endangers children. The account is closed at once and it may be reported to the authorities.
• Spam: the same thing over and over, ads, or misleading titles.
• Full, unedited copies of episodes, scenes, trailers or other people's wallpapers.

Copyright

• If you hold the rights to something on Drift, you can ask for it to be taken down. A valid notice is acted on.
• The uploader can answer a notice with a counter-notice within 14 days, from My uploads.

Reports and blocks

• Anyone can report a wallpaper or a profile, with or without an account.
• A wallpaper that three different accounts report is hidden until a moderator looks at it.
• Blocking someone hides their wallpapers from your Discover. They aren't told.

When a rule is broken

• The wallpaper is removed and the account gets a strike. A valid copyright notice counts the same.
• After three strikes the account can't upload any more. Browsing and likes still work.
• A serious breach, such as child abuse or extreme violence, closes the account at once.

Appeals

• You can appeal a rejection or a removal within 14 days, from My uploads. Each upload can be appealed once.
• A moderator looks at it again after at least 48 hours, and My uploads shows the answer.

Your account

• You can delete your account from Account. Your uploads are removed, and your likes and blocks deleted.
• Strikes and bans are kept for one year against a one-way fingerprint of the Google account, so a closed account can't simply return.
